Howard Edelman has been a full time labor and employment mediator and arbitrator for over thirty years and has heard approximately six thousand cases during this period.
He is the named arbitrator in over 100 collective bargaining agreements, including utility, health care, teacher and police and fire contracts. He also serves as a salary arbitrator for Major League Baseball and the National Hockey League and their respective unions.
Howard was valedictorian of his 1982 class at New York Law School. He also holds a Masters Degree in English from the University of Wisconsin. He lives in Rockville Centre, New York with his wife, Leslie, a former Assistant Superintendent of Schools on Long Island.
