Bob has counseled and represented clients in employment law matters for over 28 years, including working with clients to develop best practices, drafting and negotiating employment agreements, independent contractor agreements and separation agreements, and advising clients on discipline and discharge, harassment, wage-hour compliance, disability, privacy, non-competition, and reduction-in-force matters, and conducting workplace training.  Bob also represents clients before federal and state courts and administrative agencies in cases involving claims of employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, breach of employment/non-competition agreements, and wage-hour violations.  

A former Co-chair of the Boston Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law Section, Bob has held many other leadership positions in the Section, including Steering Committee member, ADR Committee Co-chair, Legislative Committee Co-chair, Liaison to the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, and Section Newsletter Editor.  Bob serves as Secretary and Vice Chair of the Smaller Business Association of New England (SBANE) and also serves on SBANE’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee.  Bob also co-chairs the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education’s (MCLE’s) Employment & Labor Law Curriculum Advisory Committee.  Bob lectures frequently on employment law issues and has written numerous articles for national and local business publications.
